Paula Johnson

Bienvenue! I teach French I, II and III and have been at BFA since 1999. I am also the advisor to the Foreign Language club. We look forward to having new members every year and it is a wonderful way for students who enjoy learning about other languages and cultures to come together in a fun atmosphere. We have a variety of activities in which students may participate.

Every other year we offer a trip to France. I also serve as an assistant drama coach and am part of the Leadership team and Restoration committee at BFA.

I am a proud graduate of BFA! I have a B.A. in French and Drama from Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY, a Ed.M in Bilingual/Bicultural Education from Boston University and a 'certificat' from L'institut Catholique, Paris, France and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Southern New Hampshire University.

On a personal note, I live in St. Albans with my husband John and we have 3 grown children and a granddaughter.

Please contact me should you have any questions regarding this department orwebsite.

Those who know nothing of foreign languages, know nothing of their own.
