Anatomy and Physiology 441

Overview

This course will concentrate on the human body.

Anatomy deals with the structure (both macro/big and micro/small) of all body systems.

Physiology deals with how the individual parts of the body work together.

While learning about the various body systems, students (with a partner) will dissect a fetal pig and individual organs such as hearts, eyes, brains and kidneys.

-Textbook: Hole's Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology (Shier, Butler and Lewis, 2006)

-3 Ring Binder or Notebook and Folder

-Writing Utensil
