Welcome!  Chemistry is the science of how and why things happen.  While in chemistry class you will be learning about atoms and molecules and why they are so important in making your car move, soap clean your body, or fireworks make pretty colors. Chemistry can be a challenging class, but in the end it will make you a better critical thinker and help you to understand the world around you.
