Welcome to Physics At Bellows Free Academy!
Physics: (Greek: physis – φύσις meaning "nature") a natural science, is the study of matter[1] and its motion through spacetime and all that derives from these, such as energy and force.[2] More broadly, it is the general analysis of nature, conducted in order to understand how the world and universe behave.

So the key concept to teach is critical thinking. But how can we achieve that with the wondrous diversity in students that we are presented with? My philosophy for teaching these skills so that a student can assimilate the material is to understand that "every student has gifts, and the key is to get to them". With that as a fundamental framework for my teaching philosophy, then what comes automatically next is the desire to create a differentiated environment to promote the best opportunity for a student to learn. With technology what it is today, committing to offering a safe and stimulating learning environment, presenting choice for learning, providing relevance to instruction, being mindful and patient towards sociological factors and providing appropriate readiness opportunities for the developing all the way to the enriching is a more attend-able task.
