Writers' Club is canceled for today.  See you next Thursday.

BFA's third annual Poetry Out Loud school final will be held tonight at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium.  Come cheer on your classmates as they compete to represent BFA at the state championship!  Admission is free!

Don't miss the Winter Ball this Saturday, February 4th from 7-10 p.m. in the Gym.  It is a semi-formal dance and admission is $5.  We hope to see you there! 

  • Students who plan on attending the dance must follow all dance rules, including no grinding.
  • Students who plan on bringing a guest must have prior approval from Mrs. Cross.  If you do not have prior approval, your guest will not be allowed into the dance.
  • If you have a student ID, please bring it with you to make the entry process faster.  Students who bring their ID will be allowed immediate entry into the dance without having to wait in line.

Attention juniors:  Next week during period 6BC you will begin the process of picking your courses for your senior year.  Your 6BC teacher will instruct you to which day and the location to meet with your counselor.  There will be three registration sessions:  Monday, February 6th, Wednesday, February 8th, and Thursday, February 9th.

If you want to be involved in BFA's entry to the Vermont One-Act Play Festival, you need to attend auditions on Monday, February 6th in the Auditorium.

Get your tickets for Hypnotist Steve Taubman!  He will be here Thursday, February 9th at 7:30 p.m.  It's loads of fun!!  Get your tickets in advance at PassTime or from a DECA member for $8.  See Mrs. Kemp or Mrs. Ritter in the Tech Center.  (Tickets will be $10 at the door.)

Interested in going to Europe in 2013?  The World Language Department is offering a trip to Spain, France, and Italy during February break 2013.  If so, go to the informational meeting on February 16th at 6 p.m. in Room A-217.  The trip is open to any BFA student.  Please see Mr. Lapierre or Mrs. Saldarriaga with any questions.

Attention Seniors: 

The Guidance Office has just received the Scholarships for Military Children Program.  This scholarship is open to children of active duty personnel, reserve/guard, and retired military members.  Applications are available in Guidance.  Deadline for applications is 2/24/12.
